How to update your template
Attention: before any updates please make sure you keep a recent backup of your website.
Zhong Framework 4.x.x: live updates available
If your template version is 4.x.x the updates are available live from Joomla. This means that you will be notified when a new update is available, and Joomla will offer a one-click update. Note that in certain conditions the updater may fail to download the package, in this case you will need to download the update package manually (read section below)
Zhong Framework 2.x.x and 3.x.x: manual update is required
Templates at version 2.x.x or 3.x.x are considered obsolete and they will no longer be supported, therefore we recommend that you update them. The updates to version 4 are available for free, but you must download the package and perform a manual update (read section below).
